Transportation


By Sea: From the port of Piraeus, with the Hellenic Seaways flying dolphins. The trip lasts approximately 2.5 to 3 hours.
Or by the Alasia Travel SPEED CAT 1 CATAMARAN.
Keep in mind that you should make arrangements for  reservation and purchase of tickets soon enough.

 

By Land*: Via the Athens-Corinth National Road, towards Epidaurus and Spetses. After going through Porto Heli, motorists arrive at the port of Costa. The trip lasts approximately 2.5 hours.

*Since private vehicles are not allowed on the island, cars may be safely parked at designated parking areas at Costa.

Public Buses: ATHENS – KRANIDI (EPIDAVROS, ERMIONI, PORTO HELI, KOSTA-SPETSES)
Monday to Saturday: 09:30 (Ζ) – 11:00 via Nafplio (this route goes through village Didyma) – 16:20
Sunday & Holiday: 09:30 (Ζ) – 16:20
The trip lasts less than 4 hours.
The return routes, from Kosta to Athens, depart at 10:30 and 16:30 every day.

From the port of Costa, three options are available for crossing over to Spetses:

  • By boat, 15-minute trip (cost €2 per person)
  • By Ferry-Boat
  • By water taxi, 5-minute trip (cost €20 per trip, up to 8 persons)
